The love of God is greater far
Than tongue or pen can ever tell;
It goes beyond the highest star,
And reaches to the lowest hell;
The guilty pair, bowed down with care,
God gave His Son to win;
His erring child He reconciled,
And pardoned from his sin.
- When hoary time shall pass away,
And earthly thrones and kingdoms fall,
When men who here refuse to pray,
On rocks and hills and mountains call,
God’s love so sure, shall still endure,
All measureless and strong;
Redeeming grace to Adam’s race--
The saints’ and angels’ song.- Could we with ink the ocean fill,
And were the skies of parchment made,
Were every stalk on earth a quill,
And every man a scribe by trade;
To write the love of God above
Would drain the ocean dry;
Nor could the scroll contain the whole,
Though stretched from sky to sky.- Refrain:
Oh, love of God, how rich and pure!
How measureless and strong!
It shall forevermore endure
The saints’ and angels’ song.
I am sure many of you have heard the song "The Love of God". Written in 1917 by Fredrick Lehman, this song is one of many that talk about the love of God. Many people have tried to write about the love of God or at least attempt to explain it, but there only seems to be one word that can explain it and that word is: Indescribable. Having just recently seen the movie, "Indescribable", my eyes have been opened to how much God loves us. His love is beyond all we could ever think or say! Indescribable follows the lives of the Lehman family and in particular, twelve year old Blynn. As one circumstance follows another, Blynn questions if there really is a God and if so does He love? Blynn's father, Fredrick, wants to describe to his son and others God's love, so he begins to write a song. He is stuck when it comes to the third verse. Meanwhile, the family money is running low now that Walter is away fighting in the war and his other brother is studying. It's up to Blynn to find a way to earn money. This leads Blynn and his siblings on a quest to find a third verse, so that hopefully they could publish the song. Each day and week passes and eventually Blynn learns about true love and that God's love is Indescribable. When you feel that no one loves you, be reminded that there is a God who loves you. He loves you so much that He was willing to give His only Son to die in YOUR place! He took YOUR sins and paid the penalty for them! "Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends." John 15:13

Saturday's are one of my favorite days of the week. Why? Saturday is that day to get extra things done. (I also don't have to do school on Saturday.) Last Saturday was also the first day of Spring! Here are some Spring pictures from our yard. Remember this picture? Look what is on that branch now! Yes, they are peaches. Can't wait to eat those! Lily and Evan were helping in the garden earlier on Saturday. Owen and Ian were also doing some watering, so I decided to get some fun water pictures. Speaking of water "He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water." John 7:38
May God continually bless ya'll this week! I have finally got all the notebook, wool dryer ball, and hand-kite pictures up! I know some of you have mentioned that you wished to see what the notebooks looked like! Sorry for the inconvenience! So head on over and take a look! "For the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me, and have believed that I came forth from God." John 16:27 I came across this passage in my Bible reading the other day and was really moved by Jesus's words here. If you don't think that there is a God who loves you, this passage certainly tells you plainly, that the Father, HIMSELF, loves you! Praise God for the love He bestows on us! (And for the wonderful rain over the last weekend!) Rain is totally awesome! With Love,
