For Christmas my parents got my siblings and I family gifts. One of them was an hour long trail ride! It was so awesome to be on a horse again! When we were in our van heading home, everyone was so calm. Mom commented, "You guys are never this calm!" No one hardly said anything the whole way home! Horses do a lot for people, I'm convinced! (However, it is not ideal to take pictures on a moving horse!) The end! :)

Last Saturday we picked a bunch of lemons off our tree and started juicing! HollyBaking!Life is very busy this time of year, but isn't it always?! I've neglected to share all the fun holiday and winter things my family and I have been doing, so without further ado let me begin! After I made the frosting, I wanted to make different colors. How do you do that without using the really unhealthy food dyes? A little looking around and I found a secret to making different colors naturally! Take a look at how these cookies turned out before I tell you what I dyed the frosting with! :) The yellow frosting was dyed with turmeric, the green with spinach juice, and the red with beet juice! The great thing is that the frosting didn't taste bad! Birthday! My dear sister Lily celebrated her ninth birthday with a special Cowgirl Tea! A tea party with cowgirl games! It was super fun to put it all on for her and she enjoyed a special day with her friends! (We missed those few who couldn't come! Know that you were thought of and missed!) Decorating!Firewood!Wood season is here again! Two weeks before Thanksgiving we put out our wheelbarrels full of wood! This year my Dad decided to write "Firewood" with Christmas lights on the fence to attract more attention at night. It turned out to be pretty cool looking! If you want some firewood, why not stop by? You sure can't miss us at night! :P What are some of the holiday things your family has been doing? Merry CHRISTmas!
