I'm back home after a wonderful, adventurous and refreshing week in Texas! Got to see old friends and make new ones, experienced thunderstorms with lots of rain, listened to uplifting talks and learned many new photography skills! For this conference, I was able to participate in a class called ACTION for photographers. I was able to learn lots of new camera setting tips, editing pictures tips and much more! Not only do you get to learn a lot, but you are also responsible to document the week (which basically means you are a conference photographer!) At the end of the week, you submit your photos and they are used in the slide shows for each presentation of the kids' programs. Below is my best pictures that I took before the conference started depicting typical campground life!

The little things. The things that seem meaningless, blank, waste of time or just annoying. However, it's in the little things that we can find the most joy. When we are grateful for the little things in life, we can be grateful for everything in life. When the little things are not meaningless, but rather meaningful, then every gift is a treasure. Every time we receive even the smallest of things, compliments , gifts etc. do we complain that it's so small or are we extremely grateful, even if it is just small? Whenever I receive a letter in the mail or a freshly picked rose, it brightens up my day like no one would believe! :) Yes, my love language happens to be gifts, but that doesn't change the fact that even the little things can be precious to me. Do you enjoy the small things you receive? I'm not a great one for doing the little, meaningless tasks that I'm sometimes called to do. However, in the times that I did rejoice in the task, small though it was, I was filled with joy knowing that Christ sees even the little things we do. One day we will be rewarded for the little that we do. Even if no one notices, can we really be joyful in doing the small things? Try doing the little things this week! Brighten someones day with something small, but meaningful! You'll be surprised how blessed and loved that someone will feel! It will also make you feel joyful too! Have you ever received something small, but meaningful? What was it? Do you like to do the little things or the big things? Learning to love the little things,
